Uniform information: girls have received their skirts. All girls need to have red bloomers (or spankies), white no-show socks, white sneakers, and a white, mock turtle neck shirt. A web site to check is teamcheer.com
I am checking into buying grey t-shirts that can be worn with the uniform. This will be a personal purchase because it will not be left with the school.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the girls who tried out for cheerleading today. You did a great job!! I am pleased to announce that ALL girls have made the squad!!!!
Fifteen girls will make up the core and five girls will be alternates.
**Alternates will come to every practice, learn all sideline and floor cheers.
**Alternates will attend all games, participate in all sideline cheers and will rotate in on floor cheers.
If any of you decide not to participate in cheerleading, I would appreciate a note stating such, signed by you and your parent.
I look forward to seeing all of you at practice tomorrow after school. It will be our first practice as a squad.

There will be three practice dates before tryouts. Due to lack of gym space our practice dates will be: Monday, November 30, Tuesday, December 1,
Thursday December 2, with tryouts being on Friday, December 2. Practice time is from 2:20 until 4:00.

Practice is mandatory. If you need to miss practice, you must let the coach know. Missing practice may prevent you from cheering on the floor at a game. You are never penalized for being absent from school or going to academic help. Bring a pass from the teacher with whom you spent the late bus time. Continuous, unexcused absences will result in dismissal from the team. Practice schedule for January will be available at the end of the month of December.
