Constitution Convention Network Forums

Description:

While you are participating in the Constitution Convention it is important to share your point of view, as well as listen to what others have to say.  By listening to others it can help you understand the topic of discussion by looking at the situation from a different perspective.  Each night we will add new forums on the Ning site based upon debate topics and arguments from that day.  We strongly encourage you to go onto the site each night and join the discussions.  However, the overall grade will be based upon the total number of posts made over the entire time the convention is taking place. 

Ning forum posts must contain the following:

ü     Direct response to the question the forum is asking

ü     Direct response to another comment in the forum

ü     Ask a question you have based upon the forum topic

ü     Share your thoughts or insights to the topic

The point of the forum is to stretch the mind and explore the topic.  Use the forum as a way to express something that you may not have had a chance to say during the debate. 

Expectations:

ü     Use the notes that you took in class to help develop your entry

ü     Posts must be from your characters perspective

ü     Posts are not meant to be random—You do not get credit for posting,  You get credit for the quality of work that you post

Grading:

The Ning site will be graded on the rubric, which will evaluate the quality of the project, as well as, meeting all of the requirements.
