Science with Miss Leach

The focus of study in seventh and eighth grade science at Northwestern Middle School is based on developing critical thinking skills and increasing content knowledge of physical, biological, and earth science. Through the study of nonliving and living worlds, students learn how to apply observations and intuitions to new situations and problems, formulate hypotheses, design experiments and draw conclusions. 

In seventh grade, topics in biological, physical, and earth science are addressed through the following content areas.
