Overview of Curriculum This Week:
In English class students will
In math class, students in period 6 will continue to work in the review unit on fractions, which includes what a fraction is , comparing and ordering fractions with different denominators, mixed numbers and improper fractions and fractions amd decimals. In all other classes, students will be finishing up solving word problems using GCF and LCM and then moving into fraction review.
In reading class we will
In science class we will be beginning Unit 7.3 - Energy in the Earth's Systems. We will begin this unit by watching The Magic School Bus: Blows It's Top and then delve into the Layers of the Earth. :)
In social studies class we will
