Overview of Curriculum This Week:
In English class students will continue writing descriptive pieces. On Wednesday, students will have a chance to turn in their best piece in a final, polished form. They will also be performing their final piece in a 1-2 minute presentation, which will showcase their best performance skills. On Thursday, we will begin reading A Christmas Carol in preparation for our field trip to see the live performance at the Hartford Stage.
In math class, we periods 1,2,4, and m will be finishing chapter 2 with discussion of estimating and measuring using metric units and converting within metric units. They will be having a chapter 2 test on Friday and a pop quiz on metric benchmarks prior to Friday. Period 6 will be havint the chapter 2 test on Tuesday and then movong into the next unit on data and statistics.
