Powerschool is now up and running for our 8th grade students.  7th grade parents--look for your user names and passwords in the mail early next week.

Middle School Picture Day will be held on Friday, September 10th with re-takes and make-ups on October 15th.

 

Middle School Fall Sports sign-up will be held Thursday, September 2 and Friday September 3 outside of the lunchroom during middle school lunch.

Sports include: Cross Country, Volleyball, Soccer and Field Hockey

Northwestern Middle School students performed very well on the 2010 CMTs. As a group they performed at some of our highest levels ever. More precise school data can be found at www.ctreports.com. Individual student score reports will be given to the school soon. We will mail these to parents and students as soon as we receive them from the State of Connecticut. In the meantime, the school does have access to individual scores and we are analyzing them to prepare instruction for the 2010-11 school year.

Northwestern Middle School has gone green with our newsletters. We will now mail four newsletters instead of the nine we have in the past. This will provide all of the same helpful information while at the same time reducing our impact on trees and the environment as well as saving the postage. Once we know that people are comfortable and remember to check this website we may able to make more of our newsletters green. Those that do not have a computer connection can of course request a mailed copy. The October Newsletter has been posted to this site under:
