PTO Mission Statement
The NWR 7 MS Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) serves as a liaison between the parents and teachers of the Middle School with one common goal in mind: to provide our children with the best educational experience possible.
The PTO is organized to enhance cooperation between home and school so that parents, teachers and administration can work together effectively to ensure quality education and promote the welfare of children in home, school and community.
The PTO is a hands-on organization, involved in many aspects of the educational process. Some of the projects we are involved in are Parents and Grandparents Day, providing snacks during CMT testing, Teacher Appreciation week, 8th grade graduation, 8th Grade Dinner Cruise and the Super Dance.
Our fundraising efforts are forwarded directly to the students in ways such as enrichment activities, class trips and mini grants to the teachers for extra classroom needs.
The key to keeping the PTO a successful organization is the involvement of the entire school community. Your time and energy are the only limitations to the extent that you would like to be involved. We welcome all parents to join us in helping to keep our school strong and continuously meeting the needs of our students.

Magazine Sale (Sept-Oct)
Collect and tally sales during lunch
Student Dances (various times)
Chaperone
Pick up donated food and deliver to school
CMT Snacks (March)
Help distribute snacks and deliver to homerooms
Grandparent’s Day (April)
Bake breakfast food
Help serve
Shop for food/paper goods
Make table arrangements
Parent’s Day (April)
Pick up donated food and deliver to school
8th Grade Dinner Cruise (May)
Help plan activities
Choose table gifts/meal choices etc.
Chaperone/decorate
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony (June)
Help Decorate Gym and Cafeteria
Serve food/drinks after ceremony
